As the world continues its march from the shocking isolation of the early 2020s, it seems many people take it easier during the holidays. Black Friday thankfully no longer required being trampled as if you were Mufasa with an ornery Scar holding the discount sign at the door, and studies show families are opting out more on the traditional big bird centered gatherings, some going smaller and personal with alternative meals.

But still, the spirit of Thanksgiving and traditions live on. One classic in the South is the ‘collard greens’ that invariably a very well dressed woman will make and deliver if the meal is not being served on her homestead. Inspired by a request in memory of his great grandmother ‘Delores’, here is a video homage to Thanksgiving and a thank you to our early staff and readers who are engaging as we embark on this fun new journey together.

All the best to you and yours this holiday season and let’s remember to celebrate our loves ones as much as we can. Pebblr.
